Andropause Natural Treatment
Andropause is the man’s version of a woman’s menopause. Andropause is related to gradual physical and psychological changes that occur in men aged 40 to 55 years old. Men going through this stage may experience sudden mood changes, fatigue, loss of energy, physical agility, loss of sexual drive and other health conditions like heart disease and bone problems. This is because as a man’s age increase, it causes decreased levels of testosterone thus resulting to andropause. You can also engage in various sports like tennis or basketball.
- Following a healthy diet is also helpful against the symptoms of andropause. Take note that certain foods have positive impact on the mood and energy. Your diet should include high amounts of vitamin D, folic acid, vitamin B12 and omega-3. Essential fatty acids can be obtained from various food sources like salmon, walnuts and flaxseeds, B12 from eggs, lean beef and cheese, folic acid from broccoli, oatmeal and whole grain cereals and vitamin D from milk.
- As much as possible, make sure that you avoid consuming alcoholic beverages. Different bodies react differently on alcohol. If you want to prevent or treat symptoms of andropause, make sure that you avoid consuming beverages with alcohol in it.
